Welcome

Hi there! I'm Veronica, founder of Borderless and creator of this Guidance App. Congrats—you've just taken the first real step toward your study abroad dream!
I've been exactly where you are. As an international student from Uzbekistan, I got into NYU Abu Dhabi (with a crazy 4% acceptance rate!) on a full-ride scholarship, graduating in 2019. Since then, I've spent over 7 years helping international students like you get into their dream colleges.
I created this guidance because I wanted international students everywhere to have free, top-tier admissions support. Thankfully, technology—especially Artificial Intelligence—has made it possible to pack all my knowledge into content and tools that anyone can use. If you're dedicated and willing to put in the work, you absolutely can get into the world's best universities.
We are here to support you with every step of your journey.

USA Application Roadmap
As an international student, you've got plenty of options on where to study. But each country has its own rules, deadlines, and application quirks. Still, there's one country that stands out—the United States, home to some of the world's top universities and, hands down, the toughest admissions process.
Here's something I've noticed again and again: If you prep for U.S. admissions, you'll basically be ready for most other countries too.
For instance, the SAT (the classic American standardized test) isn't just for the U.S. anymore—you can also use it for applications in Canada, Korea, Hong Kong, Turkey, and beyond.
This Application Roadmap on Borderless is designed specifically with U.S. admissions in mind. But by following it, you're setting yourself up nicely for many other countries as well. Just remember to double-check specifics for each country you're eyeing.
Why you should consider USA as a study destination
The U.S. may have the toughest admissions process, but it's still the #1 choice for international students. Here's why:
- Huge variety: Over 4,500 accredited universities and countless academic programs.
- Generous funding: 100+ universities offer full financial aid to international undergrads, covering tuition, living expenses, books, insurance, and even flights.
- Global community: Over 1 million international students create a multicultural environment ideal for building worldwide connections.
- Career opportunities: Loads of internships and professional experiences across nearly every industry.
- Cutting-edge research: Access to top-tier facilities and opportunities to engage in advanced research and innovation.
- Strong reputation: Home to some of the highest-ranked institutions globally, including the famous Ivy League.
