120 Hours is a student-run architecture competition. Participants get 120 hours (five days) to respond to an assignment and submit a design proposal. The competition is open to students from all over the world.
Who can enter:
- Students from any country.
- Teams of 1–3 students.
- A Submittable account is required to submit an entry.

2026 edition:
The 2026 assignment, "Kittiwake Hotel," asked entrants to design an alternative nesting structure for kittiwakes in Tromsø, Norway. The assignment was released on Monday, March 9 at 14:00 CET, and entries were due on Saturday, March 14 at 14:00 CET. Entries were presented on two landscape A3 sheets and uploaded to Submittable as one PDF and two JPGs. They were judged on response to the brief, architectonic quality, and presentation. The jury met in Oslo on April 9 and 10, and winners were announced on April 10 at an exhibition in Oslo and on Instagram (@120hours).
