About the Program

The Harvard-Crimson Global Case Competition (HCGCC) is a free, fully virtual case competition for high school students ages 13-18, powered by Crimson Education and partnered with The Harvard Crimson. Participants take on the role of consultant or CEO, developing business strategies to address real corporate challenges and presenting solutions to industry judges. No prior business or economics experience is required.

Teams of 2-4 students register individually and form groups through the platform, then work through a multi-round elimination format: regional qualifiers on October 14, regional finals October 22 through November 6, and global finals November 6-19, with winners announced December 1. Free bootcamps, live webinars with industry experts, articles, and past case solutions are available to all participants throughout the competition. The total prize pool includes $4,000 in cash prizes and $18,000 in education consulting prizes, alongside work experience opportunities with Fortune 500 companies and admissions consultancy assistance. Registration is open July 14 through October 14, 2026.
