Overview of GENIUS Music
GENIUS Music aims to raise public concern for environmental problems and offer solutions through musical performance. Performances can be in any style but must demonstrate a high level of skill and connect to environmental issues. Participants can use existing compositions related to the environment or explain the environmental connection of their chosen piece in an artist statement.

- RIT University scholarships are available for award winners (Gold, Silver, Bronze, Honorable Mention, Participant, Finalist) for study at RIT, ranging from $10,000 to $20,000 renewable scholarships.
Eligibility Requirements
π General Requirements
Performances must exhibit a high degree of performance acumen, rehearsal, care, and thought, and must include a tie-in to the environment. The application requires an artist statement, the score, and a video of the performance.

Application Process
The application requires submitting an artist statement (less than 500 words, describing the connection to the environment, in English, as PDF or Word), the score, and a well-produced video of the performance. The video must be uploaded to YouTube with the title "GENIUS Olympiad - YEAR: TITLE" and the YouTube link provided in the application.
