Harvard-MIT Mathematics Tournament (HMMT)
The HMMT February tournament is a mathematics competition for high school students held at MIT. It is more difficult than the HMMT November tournament, with problems ranging from mid-AIME to olympiad level. The individual rounds cover Algebra, Geometry, and Combinatorics, and the team round is proof-based. Students attending should be comfortable crafting and writing rigorous proofs.

The tournament is intended to challenge strong math students. Due to the proof-based team round, students should be comfortable crafting and writing rigorous proofs. Competitors must not have completed secondary education in local jurisdiction by tournament date.
Competitors must be students below the age of 21.

The application process requires creating an HMMT account (an adult coach/chaperone account is needed to register students), registering an organization, selecting the HMMT February tournament, creating a team or individual application, and inviting students to the roster. Financial aid is available through a separate application step.
