Brain Bee Bootcamp

ClosedBiologyMedicineSummer Program

About the Program

Brain Bee Bootcamp is a free 16-week online neuroscience preparation program run by the International Youth Neuroscience Association (IYNA), in partnership with the International Brain Bee. It is designed to prepare high school students ages 13–19 for local, national, and international Brain Bee competitions.

The program runs December through March and covers neuroanatomy, neurohistology, patient diagnosis, and clinical reasoning, following the structure of the Brain Bee's official study resource (Brain Facts). Students participate via Discord and Google Classroom, with instruction led by neuroscience professionals, university faculty, and past International Brain Bee finalists. The program includes application-based questions, mock exams, and guest speaker sessions. Time commitment is approximately 3–4 hours per week.

The bootcamp is open to students from anywhere in the world and is completely free. Check youthneuro.org for registration dates for the next cycle.
