About the Program

The International Young Researchers' Conference (IYRC) is an organization offering educational programs in medicine, STEM, and research for high school students from 65+ countries. Programs are taught by Columbia University VP&S and UCLA physicians and researchers, and blend virtual and in-person components.

The main offering is the Medicine & Research Summer Program (June–August), which covers the fundamentals of medicine and research through the ACComPLISHED Community Health Program, Medical Humanities Program, and VISION: Global Health and Leadership Conference. Additional programs include the Medical Humanities Program (August), STEM Winter, and Tokyo Explore. IYRC also hosts in-person conference days where students present research, case studies, and community projects.
