About the Program

Stanford AI4ALL is a two-week summer program for current 9th grade students, hosted by Stanford's Pre-Collegiate Studies and the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered AI (HAI). The program aims to expand access to AI education and empowers students to explore how AI can address meaningful real-world challenges. Core topics include computer vision, natural language processing, medical AI, and robotics.

The program is offered in two formats: an online option (June 15-26, 2026) with synchronous instruction daily from 9:00am to 2:30pm PT, and a residential option (July 19-31, 2026) on Stanford's campus that includes housing, meals, instruction, course materials, and field trips to Bay Area attractions. Tuition is $4,120 for the online program and $9,800 for the residential program. Need-based financial aid is available to all applicants, including international students, through the School and Student Services (SSS) system.

Applications are submitted through the Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies portal and require a $60 application fee (waivers available). The 2026 application cycle is now closed; the program runs annually.
