The Earth Prize is a $100,000 environmental sustainability competition open to teenage students worldwide. It recognizes and awards students who develop the best solutions to accelerate positive change towards environmental sustainability. Seven Regional Winners each receive $12,500, three Mentors of the Year receive $2,500 each, and a Global Winner is selected at the annual Awards Ceremony. Since launching, The Earth Prize has engaged over 14,000 students across 160+ countries. The 2026 cycle introduced multi-language submission support with integrated AI translation. Registrations for the 2027 cycle are now open.

Eligibility
Participants must be registered in a school or educational program. Participants must have been born between 2006 and 2012.

How to Apply
Fill out the online registration form to get access to My Earth Prize Platform. Teams can be formed with up to five students or enter as an individual. An Educator (teacher, administrator, program coordinator, or parent for homeschooled students) is encouraged but optional; a Team Lead can be assigned if no supervisor. The submission process involves completing a "Fresh Idea" canvas across eight building blocks. Selected Scholars then develop a "Final Idea" with impact metrics and a 90-second pitch video. Beginning with the 2026 cycle, registrations and submissions can be made in any language with integrated AI translation support.
