Overview of The European Summer Program on Rationality (ESPR)
The European Summer Program on Rationality (ESPR) is an immersive workshop for mathematically talented students with a desire to understand themselves and the world. The curriculum covers topics from game theory, cryptography, and mathematical logic, to AI safety, communication styles, and cognitive science. The goal is to help students hone rigorous, quantitative skills and acquire useful concepts and practical techniques.

Eligibility Requirements
📋 General Requirements
Mathematically talented students with a desire to understand themselves and the world. Curious about decision-making and modeling the world. Passionate about cognitive science, mathematics, philosophy, economics, logic or history.
👥 Age Requirements
Applicants must be between 16-19 years old. Individuals younger than 16 cannot be accepted due to venue restrictions. Those aged 20 may consider applying for the PAIR program.

Application Process
The application process involves three stages: Stage 1 requires submitting an application form, which includes a task and open-ended questions. Stage 2 consists of approximately two hours of tasks. Successful applicants will then be invited for an online interview in Stage 3. Applicants are allowed to use large language models but must disclose which model was used and how.
