Overview of Our Student Podcast Contest
The New York Times Learning Network invites students to create an original podcast of five minutes or less that informs or entertains. In this eighth annual Student Podcast Contest, teenagers are invited to submit original podcasts of five minutes or less on any topic or in any form. Favorite podcasts will be featured on The Learning Network. Contest dates are April 16 to May 14, 2025.

Eligibility Requirements
π General Requirements
The Learning Network provides fresh opportunities daily for teenagers to both learn more about whatβs happening in the news and raise their voices in response to it. All resources use content from The New York Times β articles, essays, images, videos, graphics and podcasts β as teaching tools across subject areas.

Intended audience is middle and high school teachers and students (age 13 and up).

Intended audience is middle and high school teachers and students. Content is also used in elementary schools and colleges.
