About the Program

Young Founders Lab is a selective virtual incubator where high school students in grades 9-12 launch real startups and nonprofits under the guidance of mentors from companies including Google, McKinsey, and Harvard Business School. No prior business experience is required.

The flagship Group Program runs in two summer cohorts and involves 30 hours of live interactive workshops over three weeks, with a time commitment of 8-10 hours per week. Students work through idea generation, product development, fundraising strategy, and investor pitching, culminating in a demo day where they pitch to investors. Students retain full ownership of their ventures. An Individual Program with rolling enrollment year-round and a 10-week Pitch Competition Prep track (running November through January) are also available.
