Lida Asilyan

About me

Lida Asilyan is currently pursuing a Master's in Education Policy and Analysis, focusing on Global and International Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She just graduated from the American University of Armenia with a BA in English and Communications, concentrating on Journalism, Writing, and Translation, and a minor in Human Rights and Genocide Studies. Lida has experience working with the American Councils for International Education as an Alumni Coordinator and EducationUSA as an Adviser, where she focused on supporting students from borderline communities in Armenia affected by conflict. Her interests lie in developing education emergency policies, enhancing refugee education, and improving teacher policy and management, aiming to maximize her impact and ensure positive educational outcomes in Armenia.
