About the Program

The Anthem Essay Contest asks students to write about Ayn Rand’s novel Anthem. The official general eligibility FAQ accepts middle and high school students worldwide aged 13 and older who are enrolled in school during the contest period.

As checked November 4, 2026, the official Anthem page did not display contest-specific details, and the main contest list reported that contest information could not load. No current Anthem deadline, prompt, fee or prize amount could therefore be verified. The earlier catalog’s May 31, 2026 cutoff and USD 2,000 top award are unverified historical claims and do not establish a new cycle’s terms.

How to Apply

The official general process is to choose the contest, read the novel, create an account and submit original essays responding to the current prompts before the applicable cutoff. As checked November 4, 2026, the Anthem route shows only site navigation and the main contest list reports that contest information cannot load. A current Anthem deadline, prompt and fee cannot be confirmed from those pages; the historical May 31, 2026 catalog cutoff must not be used for a new cycle.
