Babson Summer Study

OpenBusinessEntrepreneurshipSummer Program

About the Program

Babson Summer Study is a three-week pre-college program run by Babson College — the top-ranked college for entrepreneurship in the US — giving rising juniors and seniors a hands-on introduction to entrepreneurial thinking and business leadership. Students earn 4 Babson College academic credits upon completion.

The program is offered in two formats: fully online, and in-person, hosted at New England Innovation Academy (NEIA) in Marlborough, Massachusetts — not on Babson's own campus in Wellesley.

What students do:

  • Build entrepreneurial mindset and leadership skills through experiential learning
  • Work on real business challenges with a global cohort of peers
  • Receive instruction from Babson faculty
  • Develop a business concept or entrepreneurial project

Program highlights:

  • 4 college academic credits (transferable to some colleges)
  • Global cohort — international students welcome with online and residential tracks

Published 2027 dates: July 12–30 for both online and in-person classes. In-person orientation details are provided after admission; its date is not yet published.

2027 costs:

  • Online tuition: $6,480
  • In-person day total: $9,570; residential total: $13,375
  • Babson application fee: $100, non-refundable and waived for financial-aid applicants
  • Additional NEIA registration fee for in-person students: $100; airfare, visa and SEVIS costs are extra

Financial aid: Limited need-based full and partial tuition scholarships are available only for the online format. No tuition scholarships are available for in-person students. Aid applications are due February 12, 2027; awards are limited, rather than guaranteed. Applicants whose native language or school language of instruction is English are exempt from the English-test requirement.
