About the Program

Codeavour International is an annual AI, coding, and robotics competition for students ages 7–18 across 90+ countries, organized around the PictoBlox learning platform. Now in its 8th edition, the competition offers three tracks:

  1. Innovation & Entrepreneurship — Build an AI, AR-VR, IoT, or coding project using PictoBlox; available online or offline
  2. Track 2 AI-Robo Challenge — The current track page and homepage heading use Clean Energy; the homepage FAQ/footer still use Wellness Wave. The track page describes clean-energy missions and physical participation in select countries.
  3. Robo Soccer League — Design and program physical robots to compete in real-time soccer matches; physical competition in select countries

Students use tools including PictoBlox, Quarky, Arduino, and Micro:bit. The competition emphasizes 21st-century skills: AI and machine learning, block-based and Python coding, 3D modeling, robotics, and XR development. The international homepage lists $45 for regional/national entry and $100 after qualification for the International Showdown, without explicitly stating dollar currency or charging unit. Partner prices can differ: the Turkish Track 2 page lists €100 for its national route. Scholarships are offered for underrepresented students, but their amount and full-cost coverage are not published. Winners earn certificates, prizes, and mentorship — Track 1 participants can win prizes worth up to $25,000, and past editions have awarded as much as $45,000 in prizes globally.

Checked November 4, 2026 using the official international homepage, Track 2 rules page and Turkish partner’s Track 2 page, including indexed official copies when direct fetches timed out. The homepage explicitly gives July 14, 2026 as the opening and says registration is open until further notice with no fixed cutoff; Track 2 still says opening soon. These different public status statements are retained without inventing a closing date. Track 2 requires two or three students plus one mentor, despite the homepage’s general one-to-three team description. Exact local selection/event dates and full scholarship coverage remain unconfirmed.

Eligibility

Ages 7–18, in Elementary 7–10, Junior 11–14 and Senior 15–18 groups. PictoBlox is mandatory. Homepage describes one to three students plus a mentor, while Track 2 specifically requires two or three students plus a mentor and physical participation. Local participation formats and registration processes vary; no on-site registration for Track 2.

How to Apply

Use the official registration route for the chosen track and country. The international homepage says registration opened July 14, 2026, remains open until further notice and has no fixed cutoff; the Track 2 page instead says opening soon. Regional/national selection precedes the International Showdown. Published headline fees are $45 for regional/national entry and $100 after international qualification, without explicit dollar currency or charging unit; local partner fees may differ. Scholarships have no published full-coverage guarantee.
