About the Program

Dartmouth Precollege Summer Scholars offers noncredit enrichment in Hanover, with residential and commuter options. The current FAQ specifies rising grades 10–12, ages 15–18 during the programme, completed grade 9 and not yet graduated. The main eligibility page’s incomplete spring 202 reference is not used as a dated age reference.

2027 applications, checked November 4, 2026: The Apply page explicitly says applications launched October 1, 2026. Its round table lists December 15, January 27 and March 23 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern, without years; rolling consideration is described after May 1 while space remains. Those yearless dates are not assigned guessed years. Early/regular/extended offers have acceptance/deposit timing relative to the offer; rolling enrollment requires full payment and a shorter response window.

The 2027 session table gives separate residential arrival/departure windows: June 27–July 9, July 4–16, July 11–23, July 18–30 and July 25–August 6. Class days start after arrival and end before departure. Session 6 is printed as August 2–13, but its Sunday August 2 / Monday August 3 labels do not match the 2027 calendar. The Science Courses page repeats that numeric range. A corrected Session 6 date is unverified; no change of day is guessed.

The current costs page lists tuition starting at US$4,999 commuter or US$8,299 residential; the separate Leadership Institute starts at US$9,299. International registration fees are US$239/379. Its dated 2027 deposit bands are US$1,900 before January 31, US$2,500 for February 1–April 1 and US$3,500 for April 1–June 1, with full payment also due in the last band. Boundary dates overlap or leave a gap as written; the same page says final balance April 1 without a year. Contract-specific payment timing is not replaced by an invented exact deadline. The old US$1,500 deposit and hybrid price were not reverified. The current How to Apply page requires a non-refundable US$100 application fee at submission and directs fee-waiver requests to info@summerdiscovery.com; this published application requirement is distinct from deposits.

The previous 2026 aggregate June–August span and March 24 cutoff are unverified historical catalog claims, not a continuous attendance period or future calendar. Current aid coverage and exact conflicting payment/session wording remain unresolved.
