FXB Climate Advocates is a free, fully virtual program run by FXB USA that empowers young people ages 25 and under to design and implement local climate action projects. Backed by FXB's 35+ years of work in poverty alleviation and sustainable development, the program draws on expert sessions from the FXB Center for Health and Human Rights at Harvard University, New York University, Project Drawdown, and Citizens' Climate Lobby.
Over 4 months (~2 hours per week), participants receive climate education, join a global community of advocates across 90+ countries, and receive support to launch real projects in their communities. More than 1,000 advocates have enrolled to date, reaching over 400,000 people through 350+ climate projects. The program is available in English and French, and participants receive a certificate of completion.
Cohorts run multiple times per year (Spring, Summer, and potentially Fall). Apply at fxbclimateadvocates.org/apply and check the site for the next cohort's deadline.
