Georgetown Summer Academies offer one-, two- and three-week subject programmes in Washington, D.C., with interactive teaching across international affairs, business, law, medicine, science and other fields. Students from the US and abroad are welcome.
Summer 2027, checked November 4, 2026: The Academies and Apply pages say to return November 16 for 2027 offerings and applications. This is the current announcement context, not an exact summer attendance date. The earlier June 2027 start was not verified. The site describes rolling application review, then separate first-come academy registration completed when tuition is paid.
The application table lists January 31 for an application-fee waiver and May 15 as the Academy final deadline, but does not provide years. The scholarship page lists a yearless January 26 opening and March 2 Academy cutoff, alongside a statement that Summer 2027 scholarship applications are scheduled for late December 2026. Those different statements do not establish one firm new-cycle aid date. No years or cutoff clocks are guessed.
Current published tuition tables are also undated. They list one-week commuter/residential starting prices US$3,095/3,725, with medical and multiweek rates higher, and a US$50 application fee. These figures are not verified as 2027 prices. Limited need-based aid covers tuition only after admission; full attendance-cost coverage was not established. General grade eligibility is 8–12 with good academic standing; academy-specific age and GPA rules need the relevant current listing rather than assuming prior-cycle thresholds.
