About the Program

The HMMT November tournament is a mathematics competition for high school students, held at Harvard. It features individual rounds (General and Theme), a team round (Short Answer), and a Guts Round. The problems range in difficulty from mid-AMC to upper-AIME, designed to challenge strong math students globally.

Eligibility

For Season 30, competitors must be under 21 on tournament day and have been enrolled in full-time primary or secondary education on or after August 2, 2026. Homeschooled students must be working toward a high-school diploma or equivalent on that date. November teams have 4–6 students; team members must attend the same in-person school or live within 150 miles of one another, subject to the official geographic exception process. Students must be below the age of 21. Full-time primary or secondary education enrollment on or after August 2, 2026, under the Season 30 eligibility rules.

How to Apply

The official registration page says Season 30 registration is closed. Coaches submitted applications for teams or individuals and invited students to their organization. Accepted applicants must confirm attendance and complete the official roster and waiver requirements; financial aid has an earlier confirmation deadline. No next-season registration dates have been verified.
