About the Program

Harvard Undergraduate Venture Capital Group’s High School Pitch Competition invited high-school students and rising college freshmen worldwide to submit startup or business concepts in teams of up to two. The published 2026 entry required a 3–5 page business plan and a two-minute video covering the idea, market opportunity, competitive advantage and execution. Ten finalists were to present live on Zoom, with USD 1,000 advertised in prize money.

The 2026 submission deadline was September 13 at 11:59 p.m. EST, retaining the organizer’s exact timezone label. Finalist presentations were described only as the last weekend of September; no exact event day is inferred. As checked November 4, 2026, the officially linked form explicitly says it no longer accepts responses. A next competition cycle and its fee terms are not announced, and the current competition page does not explicitly state free entry.
