About the Program

The International Computer Science Competition (ICSC) is a global three-round competition blending education with friendly competition for students from over 60 countries. The competition is organized across three age categories — Junior (grade 10 and below), Youth (grades 11-13), and Senior (college and above) — and covers algorithmic thinking, logic, data structures, theoretical concepts, programming fundamentals, and research-based problem solving.

The Qualification Round consists of five problems solved at the participant's own pace and submitted as a single document; solutions may be handwritten or typed and may include code in Python, Java, or C/C++. Students who pass advance to the Pre-Final Round, a 60-minute supervised online exam, which carries a 15 EUR registration fee (with financial aid available). Top performers from the Pre-Final advance to the monitored Final Round. Cash prizes are awarded for first, second, and third place in each age category, along with national awards, Bronze/Silver/Gold honors, and participation certificates for all entrants.

For the 2026 edition, the Qualification submission deadline is July 5, the Pre-Final exam runs August 14-16, and the Final Round takes place on September 15.
