Kode With Klossy Summer Coding Camp

ClosedComputer ScienceTechnologySummer Program

About the Program

Kode With Klossy is a nonprofit founded by Karlie Kloss in 2015 that runs free two-week in-person summer coding camps for young women and gender-expansive youth ages 13-18 across the United States. Scholars choose from four curriculum tracks: Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Website Development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), Data Science (SQL, Python, data visualization), and Beyond Coding (technology culture, ethics, and guest speakers from industry).

Each camp combines a rigorous, immersive curriculum with community-building activities, daily challenges, and conversations about the culture of technology. Scholars hear from guest speakers including CEOs, entrepreneurs, and other tech leaders. No prior coding experience is required, and all programs are completely free.

After camp, scholars join an ongoing alumni network. Ninety percent of participants report planning to pursue computer science opportunities after camp, and 78% of alumni go on to pursue CS or engineering majors or minors in college.
