NYU Precollege offers high school students NYU undergraduate courses for college credit across arts and media, STEM, humanities and social sciences, and business. The official NYU summer overview specifies rising 11th and 12th graders, two to eight college credits and campus life in New York City.
2027 dates checked November 4, 2026: An official indexed Tisch counselor page has a distinct NYU PreCollege section, separate from Tisch’s residential and online workshops. That section states Summer Precollege applications open January 15, 2027. The main Precollege page and application information were inaccessible in direct web and browser checks.
Previously listed 2027 dates—January 4 for Spring, March 15 for international Summer applicants, April 15 for domestic Summer housing priority and June 4 for U.S./online Summer applications—remain unverified. The university-wide calendar gives Spring classes January 19–May 4 and exams May 6–12, but this does not confirm Precollege attendance dates. Exact Summer dates and later cycles remain unknown.
Current tuition, housing, international charges, application fee and financial-aid terms were not verified. Earlier estimates were $5,748 for three credits, $7,664 for four credits, $4,039 for summer housing/dining, $1,935 for an international charge and a $50 application fee; these are not confirmed 2027 prices. Earlier guidance recommended a 3.0 GPA and an optional 250–500-word statement, but current term-specific requirements and deposits remain unverified.
