About the Program

Notre Dame Summer Scholars offers rising juniors and seniors a two-week residential college-level course. Participants may earn one transferable credit after completing the program requirements.

The official 2027 program page and application requirements, checked November 4, 2026, list two separate sessions: June 19–July 3 and July 10–24, 2027. Students attend one session rather than a continuous June–July programme. Applicants must be at least 16 by August 1, 2027.

The FAQ confirms the October 19, 2026 opening and February 17, 2027 student/aid application deadline. Optional standardized test scores are accepted through January 31. The program-specific page says all supporting materials must be submitted by February 17, whereas the FAQ gives counselors and recommenders one week after the student deadline; these instructions differ. No exact cutoff time/timezone was verified.

The 2027 fee page confirms USD 5,200 in program charges: USD 300 enrollment by April 23 plus USD 4,900 remaining tuition/housing/dining by May 14. The USD 75 application fee is additional. Limited need-based scholarships can cover partial to full tuition, with named grants covering qualifying students’ tuition, room and board. Neither full travel/enrollment coverage nor a general application-fee waiver is guaranteed. No subsequent-cycle dates were verified.

Eligibility

Current sophomores and juniors, rising to junior/senior year; at least 16 by August 1, 2027. International applicants who do not attend an English-speaking high school must provide TOEFL, IELTS, DET or PTE Academic results.
