The SOF International Computer Science Olympiad (ICSO) assesses grades 1–10 through a 60-minute offline, English-language exam at registered schools. It offers international, zonal and school awards. The exam dates are alternatives chosen by each school, rather than a continuous attendance period.
2026–27, checked November 4, 2026: The official ICSO overview and exam dates page confirm September 24, 2026 or December 17, 2026. The September date is historical; the December date remains upcoming. SOF says schools should submit registration at least 30 days before their chosen exam. It does not publish an exact individual student cutoff or cutoff clock in those instructions; schools may collect registrations earlier.
Students register through their coordinating teacher, as described in How to Participate. Individual registration is not accepted. The registration fee page charges ₹170 per student in India, Bhutan and Nepal, with up to ₹30 additional school expenses. Other countries pay US$11 plus up to US$1 school expenses. Students with major physical disabilities and Indian students whose parent was martyred during defence operations are exempt from the SOF registration fee. These exemptions do not establish coverage of every possible school expense. No later cycle is inferred from the current dates.
