Stanford AI4ALL introduces students to computer vision, natural language processing, medical AI and robotics through instruction and research projects. The published 2026 rules required grade 9 at application submission and students older than 14 but younger than 16 during the program; prior AI or programming experience was unnecessary. These are historical criteria, not confirmed rules for a future cycle.
Historical summer 2026: Stanford’s program page lists online attendance June 15–26, 2026, 9:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. PT, or residential attendance July 19–31. The tuition page lists US$4,120 online and US$9,800 residential. Housing, meals, instruction, materials and program field trips were included in residential tuition, while airfare and personal costs were separate. The two formats are alternatives.
The 2026 admissions page gives February 6 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time as the historical application cutoff and says applications are closed. It required unofficial academic records and a mathematics/science teacher’s online recommendation, with parents or guardians involved in submission. Partial and full need-based aid were available to domestic and international students. SSS aid applications were due February 13, 2026, with supporting documents due February 20. The US$60 charge is explicitly the financial-aid application fee, with qualified waivers, rather than a verified admissions fee.
