About the Program

The Flight School Fellowship is a transformative Launch Year program for recent high school graduates, reimagining the gap year as a rite of passage into adulthood. Through a hybrid format combining virtual sessions and immersive in-person experiences—including international travel placements in countries such as Tunisia, Peru, the Philippines, Japan, Thailand, and India—Fellows cultivate wisdom, courage, and leadership to navigate a world in transition. The curriculum is built around three modes of learning: contemplation (meditation, somatics, breathwork, nature practices, and digital detox retreats), connection (daily relational gatherings and authentic community building), and exploration (real-world travel and apprenticeships). Fellows also engage in co-creation projects, mentorship with faculty and a wisdom council, guest speaker sessions, and peer-led discussions. After completing the program, graduates join the "murmuration," an ongoing global alumni community.
