About the Program

We invite teenagers to tell a true story about a meaningful life experience in 100 words or fewer.

Deadline check (2026-11-04): The official 2026–27 calendar PDF, previously downloaded and re-examined for this check, names the 100-Word Personal Narrative Contest and lists September 16–October 28, 2026. Those are application-window dates, not program attendance dates. The calendar page and current official rules could not be accessed. The earlier catalog’s claims of free entry and worldwide student eligibility are not reconfirmed by the calendar alone; numeric fee/aid values and country eligibility have therefore been removed. No 2027 memoir deadline or eligibility rule is inferred.

Eligibility

The official 2026–27 calendar describes a true personal narrative in 100 words or fewer. Exact contestant age, enrollment, geographic and other eligibility rules could not be verified for this cycle; general Learning Network readership is not treated as contest eligibility.

How to Apply

The official calendar lists a historical September 16–October 28, 2026 entry window. The detailed 2026 rules and submission form could not be accessed during this check. No later-cycle deadline or current entry route is confirmed.
