About the Program

THIMUN The Hague is one of the world's oldest and largest Model United Nations conferences, held annually at the World Forum Convention Center in The Hague, Netherlands. Now in its 59th year, the conference brings together approximately 3,200 students and teachers from over 200 schools across more than 100 countries for a five-day simulation of the United Nations.

Delegates represent countries in various UN committees, debate global issues, and draft resolutions — all following formal UN rules of procedure. The Hague is home to numerous international organizations, including the International Court of Justice and other UN-affiliated bodies.

Participation is school-based: your school must be a registered THIMUN member to send delegates. The 59th Annual Conference runs January 25–29, 2027. Visit thehague.thimun.org for registration information and deadlines.
