THIMUN The Hague is a secondary-school Model United Nations conference at the World Forum in The Hague. Participation is organized through school delegations, with separate applications for selected roles such as Student Officers, international court simulations and Press. Selected individual-position students still travel and stay with their school delegation.
2027 cycle, checked November 4, 2026: The official conference information and 2027 handbook advertise January 25–29 overall. The detailed programme identifies four general conference days, January 26–29, with optional school registration and mandatory briefings for designated roles on Monday January 25. The programme is provisional and role-specific schedules vary.
Schools’ Form I registration, prepayment and individual-position applications were due September 25, 2026. MUN-Directors submit individual-position forms; this is not independent individual attendance. The complete participant list (Form II, including directors and chaperones) is due November 20, 2026. The remaining balance is due January 15, 2027. No cutoff clock is stated. New schools follow the Foundation’s formal school application process; these dates do not establish a new late-entry route.
Current 2027 fees are €340 per person (except the Executive team) and €190 per school delegation, with lunches and an HTM conference transport ticket included. Schools declining transport tickets must notify THIMUN before December 1, 2026 for a €20 per-person discount. Changes after the November deadline incur €30 per updated badge, and full fees become due regardless of attendance. Schools arrange their own travel and accommodation. The handbook has some old 2026 running headers, but its fee section explicitly says 2027 and matches the current webpage.
