UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music Summer Intensives are week-long programs on the UCLA campus in Los Angeles for high school musicians ages 14–18, led by UCLA faculty and industry professionals. Each track culminates in a live student showcase or capstone project.

Historical 2026 applications and tuition: Songwriting, Voice Performance, Music Production and Global Jazz listed a May 1 application deadline. Music Industry’s page expressly limited its May 1, 2026 cutoff to Session B; the other two Music Industry cutoffs are unconfirmed. In-person tuition was $1,533 per session, while the online Music Industry session cost $661. Published payment terms required a $500 deposit within 15 days of admission and the balance by May 29, 2026.
Historical financial aid: The 2026 Voice Performance page offered need-based subsidies. The checked sources do not establish full tuition coverage or subsidies for every track.
Checked November 4, 2026: the UCLA overview still publishes 2026 sessions; a 2027 schedule, application window and fees are not announced. The Music Industry page confirms the lower online price and Session B-only cutoff. The Songwriting page, Voice Performance page, Music Production page and Global Jazz page support the other historical track dates and cutoffs; the Voice and Jazz pages explicitly describe 2026 despite older years in their URLs. The online Music Industry session has differing letter labels across pages, but both give August 10–14. Linked Google Forms could not be independently read during this check.
