Write the World and the Supreme Court Historical Society announced a global online Justice writing competition for ages 13–19. It runs October 5–26, 2026, and participation is free. Membership in Write the World is required, but membership is free to teenagers.

The competition accepts creative writing from 50–1,000 words, including poetry, fiction, song, playwriting, and other creative forms. Entries should engage with justice or injustice at local, national, or global levels. Winners will be announced November 13, 2026, and will receive a cash prize and publication by both Write the World and the Supreme Court Historical Society. Justice Gerard Hogan of the High Court of Ireland is the guest judge. The first 50 students to submit will receive editorial reviews from professional educators, lawyers, and legal scholars.

Eligibility

Open globally to Write the World members ages 13–19. Entries must be creative writing on the theme Justice or injustice and must be 50–1,000 words. Open to teenagers ages 13–19. Teen writers worldwide; age eligibility controls.

How to Apply

Create a free Write the World membership and submit a 50–1,000-word creative writing entry during the competition window. Eligible forms include poetry, fiction, song, playwriting, and other creative forms.
