Yale Model United Nations (YMUN) is an annual conference held on Yale's campus in New Haven, CT. The 53rd iteration (YMUN LIII) will take place from January 21st to January 24th, 2027. The conference brings together nearly 1,800 high school students from over 35 countries to discuss pressing global issues in committees, offering an enriching MUN experience. The conference includes a "Yale Day" to provide participants with a glimpse into student life at Yale. Registration for YMUN LIII opened June 15, 2026 and closed July 3, 2026, when the waitlist opened.
As checked November 4, 2026, YMUN LIII has reached capacity. Waitlisted delegations receive an invitation only if a place becomes available. Country-committee preferences are due November 18, 2026; delegate names, hotel information and liability forms are due December 9, 2026. The dates page specifies 11:59 p.m. EST for deadlines.
