The YIS Global Stock Pitch Competition invites high school students to analyze a publicly traded company and present a Buy or Sell recommendation through a report, slides, and video. Students compete individually or in pairs.
Announced 2027 cycle: stock pitch registration opens December 15, 2026 and closes February 19, 2027. All three submission items are due by 11:59 PM PST on February 19, 2027, using the official page's timezone wording. The US event fee is $30 per person. International participants use a listed country event when available, and International OPEN when their country is not listed; the checked page does not specify their fee.
The top 100 teams are invited to the Global Youth Investment Summit in New York City on May 25–26, 2027, where attendance is required for Summit competition. The Summit page separately advertises registration opening October 16, 2026, a $200 early event fee, and a $300 standard event fee after January 31, 2027. This is distinct from the December stock pitch opening and $30 US competition fee. Students arrange travel, hotels, and transportation. Limited Summit financial aid has a February 27, 2027 request deadline; it is not an extension of the stock pitch entry deadline.
The 2026 cohort is retained as history, with its official May 28–29 Summit dates. Its old application dates could not be reverified and have been moved out of structured deadlines.
