This program has been discontinued. The Technology and Entrepreneurship Center at Harvard (TECH), which ran the HUVTSP, permanently closed in 2025 after operating from 2000–2025.

The Harvard Undergraduate Ventures-TECH Summer Program (HUVTSP) was a premier high school innovation academy. This selective online program offered students hands-on experience through internships with cutting-edge, VC-backed startups and mentorship from world-renowned CEOs, investors, and Harvard faculty. Participants worked directly with founders and C-suite executives. No prior entrepreneurial experience was expected or required; motivated self-starters with an interest in gaining experience in a specific industry or learning more about startups were encouraged to apply.

Tuition for the 6-week program is $4750. There is also a $35 application fee.
Financial aid is available on a case-by-case basis for accepted high school students with demonstrated need. In 2024, several students received scholarships covering 100% of their tuition. Admissions are need-blind. Financial aid extends only to program fees, not the application fee.

Motivated self-starters and go-getters with an interest in gaining experience in a specific industry or learning more about startups are encouraged to apply. Demonstrated interest in startups, technology, business, or gaining hands-on experience in a particular discipline is a plus. Students enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs may not participate; however, students who have graduated high school but are on a gap year or are yet to begin their undergraduate studies may apply.
