The Research Foundations Program is a 4-week online program by Non-trivial designed for bright young people aged 14-20 who have not started university. Participants learn the essentials of impactful research through an optional interdisciplinary curriculum spanning mathematics, machine learning, biology, economics, and philosophy. The program requires a minimum of 5 hours per week on a flexible schedule and includes peer learning, Discord discussions, and mentorship from a facilitator. Outstanding participants may advance to the Research Fellows program (individually mentored project development) and subsequently to the Research Scholars tier, where scholarships of at least $2,000 are awarded. Upon completion, participants receive a certificate.
