About the Scholarship

Biola University pays Canadian students $4,000 a year, renewable across a degree.

It turns on residency rather than merit or need, which is why no basis is recorded here: the university confirms it through a Canadian secondary school or residency documentation.

It does not stack with the university's International Student Aid Grant, so a Canadian applicant takes one or the other.

What It Covers

  • Tuition

$4,000 a year, divided equally between the autumn and spring semesters, renewable up to four years or four and a half for a longer programme. Prorated below full-time enrolment.

Eligibility

New incoming degree-seeking undergraduates resident in Canada, enrolled at least half time, with a minimum grade average of 2.0 and on-campus study. The student must not be eligible for American federal Title IV aid or a California state grant.

Eligible Countries

The university requires Canadian residency, confirmed by having graduated from or currently attending a Canadian secondary school, or by official Canadian residency documentation.
