East Tennessee State University extends its automatic international merit awards to graduate study, paying master's students $5,000 a year and doctoral students $9,000.
Both need a grade average above 3.0 and renew on a 2.75 average, for up to five semesters at master's level and eight at doctoral level. There is no separate application.
