About the Scholarship

Southern Arkansas University runs four international scholarship tiers set purely by test score, from the Blue and Gold Excellence Scholarship at $7,000 a year down to the Achievement Award at $2,000.

The entry point is unusually low. An SAT score of 960 or an ACT score of 18 qualifies for the smallest tier, which is far below what most US merit awards require.

All four need a separate international scholarship application by 15 April, and all renew on a 3.0 grade average with 15 credit hours a semester and on-campus residence.
