The Presidential Elite Scholarship is the University of Alabama's top award for students from outside the state, and it is explicitly open to international applicants. It covers tuition for up to four years, first-year on-campus housing at standard rates, a $1,500 annual supplement and a one-time $2,000 allowance for research or international study.
The bar is exact: a grade average of 4.0 or higher together with a perfect ACT score of 36 or SAT score of 1600 from a single sitting.
There is no separate application. The award comes through the undergraduate application, with official test scores due by the admission deadline.
