About the Scholarship

The University of Montana tiers its award for new out-of-state and international students by grade average, from $18,000 a year at 3.95 down to $5,000 below 2.99. Transfer students see a lower band topping out at $12,500.

The award runs for up to four years and needs a 2.5 cumulative grade average with 15 credits a semester. It is forfeited if the student becomes a Montana resident, moves to Missoula College, or shifts to online-only study.

Consideration is automatic on full admission, though an unofficial transcript is needed to finalise the offer.
