About the Scholarship

The University Scholarship is the top merit tier at the University of San Francisco, worth up to $37,000 a year. It is awarded automatically, with no separate application.

Selection rests on the university's own recalculated grade average across core academic subjects, which must reach 4.10 for this tier. The award renews each year for up to four years provided the student maintains satisfactory academic progress.

$37,000 a year for a university-calculated grade average of 4.10 or higher. It can only be applied to tuition, which is $63,880, so it covers about 58 per cent. Renewable for up to four years on satisfactory academic progress. Figures are from the university's autumn 2026 table; it has not yet published autumn 2027.

Awarded on the university's own calculated grade average in core academic subjects, at 4.10 or higher for this tier.
