The International Ambassador Scholarship pays $10,000 a year at Wright State University to incoming international first-year students who commit to living on campus and show initiative in intercultural learning.
Unlike the university's other international awards it needs a separate application with an essay, submitted after admission, with a deadline of 12 March.
It runs for up to eight semesters on a 2.5 grade average with 24 credit hours a year.
