The Wildcat Housing Grant pays $3,000 a year toward housing for up to two years at Abilene Christian University.
It is tied to the university's housing requirement rather than to grades. Single undergraduates with fewer than 60 credit hours who are under 21 must live on campus, which covers most new international first-year students, and those students qualify for the grant.
It sits on top of the university's academic scholarship tiers rather than replacing them.
