About the Scholarship

Alma College pays $36,000 a year on this tier, $144,000 across four years, and publishes the identical table for international and domestic first-year students.

The second of six tiers.

That identical treatment is the point worth noting. Several colleges in this directory quietly run a lower scale for international students under the same tier names; Alma's international table matches its domestic one exactly.

What It Covers

  • Tuition

$36,000 a year, $144,000 across four years. These are the college's autumn 2027 figures; its earlier tables and its 2026 to 2027 aid document cap at $36,000 and are superseded. Renewable for three further years, so six semesters beyond the entry year, on full-time degree-seeking enrolment and satisfactory academic progress. The college renews at the originally awarded amount unless the student stops living on campus or leaves the meal plan. Grade averages are converted to the American 4.0 scale and the college uses the higher of the weighted or unweighted figure.

Eligibility

The college renews at the originally awarded amount unless the student stops living on campus or leaves the meal plan. Grade averages are converted to the American 4.0 scale and the college uses the higher of the weighted or unweighted figure.

Eligible Countries
