About the Scholarship

Biola University's International Student Aid Grant pays $500 to $2,000 a year and is the one award on its site reserved for F-1 visa holders.

It is also the only Biola award that weighs financial need, with the university giving preference to students who demonstrate it alongside achievement and leadership.

The amount is modest against Biola's costs, so treat it as a top-up to the academic scale rather than a route on its own. Note that it does not stack with the university's Canadian Scholarship.

What It Covers

  • Tuition

$500 to $2,000 a year for undergraduates, renewable while minimum grade requirements are met and study stays on campus. A graduate version pays $500 to $1,000 a year.

Eligibility

New incoming students admitted to the university on an F-1 visa. Eligibility rests on academic achievement and leadership experience, with preference given to financial need. Renewal needs minimum grade requirements and on-campus study.
