Biola University
Biola University runs a five-tier transfer scale from $14,000 to $23,500 a year for international students bringing 15 or more credits.
The bottom tier is what stands out: the Margaret Hart Transfer Grant still pays $14,000 to students with a grade average below 2.99, where most American transfer scales pay nothing at that level.
Each tier carries its own name, and the award is made automatically on admission.
Five tiers by college grade average: William Blackstone at $23,500 for 4.00 and above, Anna Horton at $22,500 from 3.75, Lyman Stewart at $21,500 from 3.50, Sixth and Hope at $18,500 from 3.00, and the Margaret Hart Transfer Grant at $14,000 below 2.99. Figures are the university's 2026 to 2027 amounts.
Transferring 15 or more credits, with the tier set by college grade average. Renewable annually on a minimum grade average.
The university states undergraduate international students are eligible for the scholarships it lists, naming its freshman and transfer academic scholarships among them.
