Hope College considers every degree-seeking international applicant for up to $30,000, decided on the secondary school record, a personal statement and a review of activities and leadership.
One condition is easy to miss and hard to undo: living on campus is a requirement of holding the scholarship, not merely encouraged.
The college's named merit ladder, from its $22,000 Trustee award down, carries no statement that international students can receive it, and its international scholarship ceiling matches none of those awards. The two tracks appear to be separate, so this is the award to plan around. Expect to document $30,000 to $35,000 a year in family support regardless.
