Kettering University adds $1,500 a year toward tuition for transfer students who are Phi Theta Kappa members with a 3.5 grade average, and states the award is open to international transfers.
Phi Theta Kappa is an honour society for North American two-year colleges, so this reaches international students already studying at a community college in the United States or Canada rather than applicants from abroad.
It is the only Kettering award we could confirm an international student can hold. The university's larger scholarships, including its $20,000 PHINIA programme, either require American citizenship or route need through the federal aid form, which F-1 students cannot file. Its merit section is also still headed with the 2025 to 2026 year, so check the page is current.
