About the Scholarship

Sacred Heart University considers every incoming international student for a merit award of $6,000 to $20,000, decided on the transcript and class rank with no separate application.

The range covers four named programmes, the President's Excellence Award, Trustee Scholarship, College Scholarship and Conley Award, and the university publishes no figure for any of them individually. That means a student can see the span but not work out which award they would land, and the renewal grade average is likewise set per award and unpublished.

Two practical points. Awards are first come, first served against limited funds, so applying early is worth more than the absence of a deadline suggests. And the amount is fixed at admission, with the university stating there should be no expectation it rises later.

What It Covers

  • Tuition

$6,000 to $20,000, spanning four programmes the university names as the President's Excellence Award, Trustee Scholarship, College Scholarship and Conley Award. It publishes no figure for any of them individually, so the range is unattributed and a student cannot tell in advance which they would receive. Renewable for four years or eight semesters on the grade average set for the specific award, which the university does not publish either.

Eligibility

Full-time undergraduate entry, assessed on the secondary school transcript and class rank, with course selection and overall grade average weighed heavily. The university is test-optional for this review though scores may be submitted.

Eligible Countries

The university states incoming international students are automatically considered for academic scholarships during the admission review, and that international students are not eligible to complete the American federal aid form, which its merit awards do not require.

How to Apply

No separate application. Awards are limited and offered first come, first served, so applying early matters more than a deadline would suggest.
